Helping Hands books is a series of ten beautifully illustrated story/picture books for children aged 4 to 10.
These books deal with important events that occur in the life of young children; events in which social and emotional aspects play a major role. Each book deals with a single theme. Helping Hands books can be used to help children understand things that are happening to them, and emotions resulting from sickness, violence, fear, death, loneliness and sorrow.
Helping Hands are written in plain and accessible language. Children aged 6 to 10 can read the books by themselves. For younger children they are magnificent picture books.
