TOK! "Taalontwikkeling bij kleuters" translates as Language Development in Toddlers.

	Psychology and science have already provided us with extensive research on language development in toddlers. Averbode Publishers now provides a method to assist teachers in stimulating communication in their young learners, help them in the process of appropriating new vocabulary, learning new linguistic constructions and learn to use language to understand the world around them.

Our method provides theme-based materials for different levels:

• preschool
• first year of nursery school (Belgium: 2,5-3,5 years old)
• second year of nursery school (Belgium: 3,5-4,5 years old)

With every theme the teacher is provided: engaging stories, complete with large, colourful pictures, audio-versions of the stories on CD-rom, nursery rhymes... And to assist the teacher: the resources are designed to help you set specific goals, with a  list of target vocabulary and a wide range of activities and teaching tips to help you achieve those goals.
